Two cats sharing a base: one a warm ginger tabby curled up tight, the other a small dark cat tucked in beside it. She's kept the palette soft and natural — moss greens, muted browns, a bit of red on the toadstool for contrast — so the whole thing reads as one calm little corner of a tavern or farmhouse rather than two separate minis stuck together. The tiny Gecko off to the side is a nice touch too, gives the base some scale and a bit of story.
Nothing shouty about the paint work, just genuinely well-judged colour choices that suit the subject.
Emma's got a few more pieces she's painted that we'll be featuring in future posts, so keep an eye out. Thanks for letting us share this one, Emma.
