Today's showcase comes from Mew, and it's the Mimic Chair — the reds used on that mouth are genuinely brilliant. Deep, wet-looking crimson with paler highlights worked through the teeth and tongue, it looks properly fierce and evil, exactly what you want from a mimic about to catch someone out. The chair itself is kept simple and worn-looking, which makes the mouth burst out from it even more.
Mew was lovely to deal with too — we had a bit of a shipping scramble getting this out in time for a session, and they were patient with us the whole way through.
