Ogre Miniature — Cyril's Painted Showcase

Ogre Miniature — Cyril's Painted Showcase - Ottsworkshop

Today's showcase comes from Cyril, one of our customers over in France — and this ogre paint job is genuinely brilliant.

Cyril's gone with an imperial-clothing look for this one, and the yellow-and-red colour scheme gives it a bold, almost regal feel that suits an ogre's brutish charm. The highlighting on the armoured coat really pops — light touch in the right places, and it lifts the whole model. The tundra-style base he's built for it ties it together nicely too, feels like a proper cold-weather encounter rather than just a mini on a stand.

Most people go muted and grimdark on an ogre. Cyril didn't, and it works brilliantly.
