Two brand new miniatures have just arrived at Otts Workshop — the Snail Trooper and the Hover Scout Car, both from the Invictus Miniature range.
The Snail Trooper is a genuinely striking one — an alien gastropod species with a ridged, shell-like head, built as a disciplined sci-fi fighting force rather than anything humanoid-standard. The set gives you three poses: a commander raised up mid-battle with a polearm and a hand thrown out mid-command, a trooper pushing forward with a rifle and bayonet, and a third holding a polearm at the ready. Worth a look if you want something that doesn't read as just another humanoid soldier.
For something completely different, the Hover Scout Car is a proper little recon vehicle — a low, plated hovercraft with an open gunner's bay carrying twin swivel-mounted machine guns, plus a mounted fuel drum and coiled hose along the hull. No crew included, so it doubles nicely as a patrol vehicle, scatter terrain, or an objective piece in a sci-fi skirmish game.
Both ship in plain grey resin, unpainted, supports already removed, ready to prime whenever you get to them. Head over to the shop and see what you think — genuinely pleased to have both of these in stock.
