James has genuinely outdone himself with this one — a full D&D display board build, photographed through the case at his local game store, with a TV running behind it for rolling storm clouds in the background. That's dedication.
He picked up a batch of our bone devil miniatures and painted them up in stark white with blood-red wings, styled as minions guarding the centrepiece of the board. Against the rocky dungeon platform, flickering flame effects and that purple storm-lit sky, the white and red paint scheme really pops — the kind of eerie, otherworldly glow that makes a painted D&D display stand out from across the room.
This was the reveal shot ahead of a bigger finale game next month, so there may be more close-ups of the display to share once that's done.
