Lead with the detail first — that colour variation is what makes this group shot work. Ryan sent us this line-up of five painted kobolds, each one done in a completely different palette: a cool blue, a warm tan-robed figure, a dark hooded one, a fiery red-orange, and a bright green.
Standing together on sandy, grass-tufted bases, it's a proper little warband — each kobold reads as its own character rather than a repeated sculpt in different colours, which says a lot about both the sculpt variety in the set and the paint choices Ryan made to set them apart.
Cheers for sending this in, Ryan — brilliant work.
