Devil Duke Miniature — Epic Miniatures - Ottsworkshop

Picture this in your next infernal encounter: your players think they've cleared the throne room, and then this thing rises from the shadows at the back. Horns curling upward, vast bat-like wings spread wide, robes trailing into what looks like tongues of flame at the base. Nobody at the table is reaching for another crisp. That's the Devil Duke.

This is a set of three sculpts from Epic Miniatures, and each one gives you a genuinely different feel for the same character. One has him standing almost regally, robes flowing, arms loose at his sides — the kind of pose that says he doesn't need to try. Another catches him mid-motion with a jagged, ornate blade extended outward, all angular aggression. The third is the big dramatic one: flames erupting around his lower half, both arms raised, fire curling from his hands. Same Duke, three very different moods.

The sculpt detail across all three is brilliant. The torso is all exposed bone-like ribbing and swirling arcane etching — it reads as armour but also as something that grew there. The wings have real weight to them, with stretched membrane texture you can actually see. The horns on each variant are slightly different in shape, which is a nice touch if you want to run multiples at different tiers of threat.

There's something genuinely satisfying about the way infernal figures like this one sit in folklore. The idea of a devil who holds a title — a Duke of Hell — has roots going back centuries across European demonology. These weren't just monsters; they were courtiers of a dark hierarchy, which makes them brilliant as recurring campaign villains rather than one-off fights. That political angle gives the Duke real table presence beyond just being a big scary stat block.

If you're building out an infernal roster and want something that pairs well alongside the Duke, the devil miniatures collection has a solid range of options to fill out your court.

All three sculpts come on round display bases and print in our standard resin. They're genuinely good raw or painted — the surface holds wash beautifully if you want to bring out all that ribbing and wing texture without a lot of effort.

If you want one boss-level piece that does real work at the table, the Devil Duke is it. Grab yours and let your players dread what's behind that next door.
