Goblins have been causing trouble in folklore for a very long time. Small, scrappy, and always found in numbers — they're the kind of creature that works best when you've got a whole mob of them bearing down on your players at once. That's exactly what this set delivers.
The Goblin Battle Horde from Tytan Troll is a genuinely impressive collection of sculpts. Looking at the product image, there's real variety here — different weapons, different stances, different levels of armour. You've got goblins swinging axes, clutching spears, and brandishing blades. One mounted figure rides what looks like a large shaggy beast, which adds a nice command presence to the group. No two poses feel like carbon copies of each other, which is rarer than it should be at this scale.
The detail on these is brilliant. Even at a glance you can pick out textured fur on the mount, individual straps and buckles on the armour, and expressive faces that have real character — snarling, grimacing, shouting. These are sculpts that reward a careful paint job but won't punish a speedpaint approach either. Drybrushing and a dark wash will get you a solid result without hours of effort.
These fit comfortably into a Orc & Goblin Miniatures collection and work well at 28–32mm scale alongside most standard fantasy ranges. They're printed in grey resin, so you've got a clean neutral base to prime straight from the box.
If you want something with a bit more nautical chaos alongside your horde, the Goblin Redcap Pirates by Epic Miniature are worth a look — a genuinely fun alternative for a coastal encounter or a port-town ambush scenario.
Tytan Troll consistently put out some of the best fantasy humanoid sculpts we stock — if you haven't browsed their full range yet, their Tytan Troll collection is well worth a look for anyone building out a fantasy warband.
If you're running any kind of skirmish campaign, dungeon crawl, or just want a proper warband to throw at your players, this horde is a brilliant place to start. Grab them while they're in stock.
