Picture this in your next dungeon crawl: your players round a corner and there's a fully realised party staring back at them — or waiting to join them. That's exactly the kind of moment the Velrock Adventurer Bundle is built for.

The set comes with four distinct sculpts. Sculpt A is a heavily armoured knight, sword and shield raised, chainmail visible under plate, looking genuinely ready to hold a chokepoint. Sculpt B is a masked, lightly armoured rogue caught mid-sprint, dagger forward, cloak flying — real kinetic energy in that pose. Sculpt C shifts things entirely: a stocky, leonine creature hunched low with a club and a crossbow, shell-plated back, claws out. Sculpt D rounds things off with a grizzled, bare-headed warrior in scale armour, sword lowered, helmet tucked under one arm — the kind of figure that looks like it's seen a few campaigns already.

All four are rendered in that clean, unprimed teal that makes it easy to spot the surface detail before you paint. And there's a lot of detail to spot. The knight's shield has etched panelling. The rogue has pouches and buckles all over the coat. The beast creature has segmented plating across its back that catches the light differently to the smoother skin beneath. Velrock's sculpts consistently reward a close look, and this bundle is a good example of why they've built a following.

If you're building out a full human adventurer miniatures roster, the knight and the grizzled warrior slot straight in without any awkward scale or style mismatches. The rogue would sit just as comfortably in a street-level campaign as a dungeon one.

The beast sculpt is the wildcard, and honestly it might be our favourite of the four. There's a long tradition across folklore and mythology of warrior creatures that blur the line between animal and soldier — guardians, cursed knights, tribal champions. Sculpt C taps into that archetype without being too on-the-nose about it. It works equally well as a player character, a rival, or a territorial encounter.
You can browse the full Velrock range if you want to see what else they've put out — there's a decent variety of styles and scales in there. And if you're after something with a bit more of a draconic twist to your party builds, the Half Dragon Adventurer from Epic Miniatures is worth a look alongside this set.
Four sculpts, strong detail across all of them, and enough variety that you're genuinely getting four usable characters rather than four versions of the same one. That's a hard thing to pull off in a bundle, and Velrock have done it well here.
