Imp Group Miniature — Duncan Shadow

Imp Group Miniature — Duncan Shadow - Ottsworkshop

Kenneth Collins |

Picture this in your next dungeon encounter: your players think they've cleared the room, then three of these little horrors come skittering out of the shadows, claws out, fangs dripping, absolutely furious about the intrusion. That's exactly the energy this Imp Group set brings to the table.

Imp Group Miniature | A - Tabletop RPG & D&D miniature. Perfect for wargaming & collectors

This set from Duncan Shadow gives you three distinct imp sculpts — each one genuinely different in pose and personality. One is lunging forward with a wide open jaw and a long lolling tongue, another is built like a bruiser with chest-forward stance and claws extended, and the third is more upright and threatening, wide-mouthed with multiple lower fangs on full display. All three share the same core design language — bat-like ear-wings, multiple horns, thick clawed feet — but they read as individuals on the tabletop, which makes grouping them together feel natural rather than repetitive.

Imp Group Miniature | B - Tabletop RPG & D&D miniature. Perfect for wargaming & collectors

The sculpt detail across all three is brilliant. You can see the muscle definition in the arms and legs, the texture variation between the smoother chest areas and the rougher limbs, and the facial anatomy is genuinely expressive in a way that's hard to pull off at this scale. These aren't flat-faced placeholder monsters — each one has a proper snarling grimace that'll read clearly even from across the table.

Imp Group Miniature | C - Tabletop RPG & D&D miniature. Perfect for wargaming & collectors

Imps have a long history in folklore as minor demons or familiars — small, mischievous, and usually trouble out of proportion to their size. That tradition translates well into tabletop gaming, where a well-placed imp ambush can turn a 'routine' corridor into a genuinely memorable moment. These sculpts lean into that chaos energy brilliantly.

If you're building out a fiend-heavy encounter or a whole lower-planes themed session, these sit perfectly alongside the rest of our fiend miniatures collection — there's plenty there to give your players something to worry about.

If you want a slightly different flavour of small chaotic creature for your collection, it's also worth looking at the Imp by Velrock — different style, different vibe, but genuinely a solid sculpt in its own right.

We print these here in the UK to order, so you're getting a fresh print every time rather than something sitting in a warehouse. If you've got a dungeon that needs a proper infestation, this is a brilliant place to start.
