Zombie Undead Miniatures by Tytan Troll — Four Sculpts, One Brilliant Set - Ottsworkshop

Picture this in your next undead encounter: your players round a corner in a ruined fortress and four shambling warriors block the path — each one distinct, each one genuinely unsettling, and each one carrying the weight of whatever brutal life it lived before death dragged it back. That's exactly the kind of table moment this set from Tytan Troll is built for.

The pack comes with four sculpts, and they're all properly different in pose and character. One is caught mid-lunge, arm outstretched, braided hair swinging — genuinely looks like it's mid-charge across the battlefield. Another stands more upright, bearded, spiked pauldrons on the shoulders, almost like an undead warlord holding ground. The third crouches low with a massive square-headed hammer ready to swing, all teeth and aggression. The fourth sits back with a huge axe laid across its lap and a mohawk crest rising from a skull-faced head — if anything, that one looks like it's daring your players to come closer.

What's brilliant about Tytan Troll's work is the texture detail throughout. The exposed ribcage and necrotic chest wounds, the worn leather straps, the runic engravings on armour — it all reads clearly even before paint touches the model. These aren't flat zombie tropes; they feel like warriors who happened to die and kept going anyway, which is a much more interesting thing to put on the table.

Undead that retain their martial identity have a long history in folklore — cultures across Northern Europe and beyond told stories of the honoured dead who refused to stay buried, rising to settle debts or continue old wars. There's something of that feel here. These aren't shuffling plague victims; they're soldiers, and that distinction makes them genuinely more threatening as an encounter piece.

If you're building out a necromancer's warband or stocking a dungeon with varied undead threats, these sit naturally alongside the rest of our undead miniatures collection. They'd also work brilliantly as Halloween display pieces if tabletop isn't your main hobby.

The files come with supports already included, which saves a real amount of fiddling if you're running resin prints at home. Tytan Troll generally does this well across their range — if you want to see more of their work, their full Tytan Troll collection is worth a browse. Solid detail, sensible print prep, and designs that actually look like something on the table rather than just on a render.

If you fancy a different take on undead warriors, our Undead Samurai by Epic Miniature is a brilliant single-character alternative — a very different aesthetic, but the same commitment to proper sculpt quality. Either way, your players are going to have a bad time, and that's exactly the point.
