The Chupacabra is a cryptid beast miniature drawn from Latin American folklore — a lean, muscular predator with reptilian hide, a jagged dorsal spine ridge, and the fanged jaws of something that hunts livestock and travellers alike. This set of three sculpts captures the creature across three distinct poses: a stalking pounce mounted on a display plinth, a hunched bipedal threat display, and an upright humanoid variant carrying a sombrero and tankard — a darkly comic twist that opens doors for disguised creature encounters or a monstrous tavern NPC.
This miniature is available in 28mm scale, UK printed in high-detail grey ABS-like resin. It arrives free from supports with a base included, ready to prime and paint straight out of the box with no cleanup headaches.
In D&D and Pathfinder, the Chupacabra fits naturally into wilderness predator encounters, jungle or desert ambushes, or a Latin American-inspired campaign setting where cryptid monsters stalk the frontier. The comedic upright sculpt works equally well as a disguised monster, a warlock's familiar, or an oddball NPC — giving GMs flexibility that most monster miniature sets simply don't offer.
