Description
The Animated Construct is a clockwork monstrosity miniature — a cursed mechanical being with a chest-like body, spindly articulated limbs, and a face twisted into something between madness and malice. These arcane automatons exist somewhere between a living treasure chest and a clockwork familiar, each one animated by some forgotten enchantment and armed with unpredictable intent. The set spans five distinct sculpts, from a talon-footed mask-faced stalker and a spherical winged observer to a larger, elaborate winged boss variant dripping with steampunk detail.
This miniature is available in 28mm and 32mm scale, UK printed in high-detail grey ABS-like resin. It arrives free from supports with a base included, ready to prime and paint straight out of the box with no cleanup headaches.
In D&D and Pathfinder, these constructs work naturally as dungeon encounter fodder — mimics, modrons, or rogue clockwork guardians scattered through a trap-laden vault or arcane workshop. A GM can deploy them as hostile monsters, eccentric NPC companions, or the cursed servitors of an Artificer antagonist, with the winged boss variant scaling up as a formidable centrepiece of any construct-themed encounter.
