The Scholar Wizard is an elderly arcane sage miniature — a learned spellcaster whose mastery of the magical arts is etched into every fold of his ceremonial robes and the measured authority of his bearing. Rendered across three distinct poses, this set captures a court wizard of formidable power: one commanding with staff and scroll, one surging forward mid-incantation with robes whipping in arcane wind, and one channelling raw flame with outstretched hands. The East Asian-influenced robe panelling, mortarboard headwear, skull motifs, and chain accessories speak to a figure who has long walked the line between scholarship and dangerous power.
This miniature is available in 28mm and 32mm scale, UK printed in high-detail grey ABS-like resin. It arrives free from supports with a base included, ready to prime and paint straight out of the box with no cleanup headaches.
In D&D and Pathfinder, the Scholar Wizard fits naturally as a high-level NPC — a sage antagonist, court mage, or powerful wizard boss whose encounter demands preparation from any party. The three sculpts give a GM flexibility to represent the same character across different moments of a confrontation, or to populate a scholarly order of mages serving as a faction within an urban or dungeon campaign.
