The Tortoise Swarm is a beast swarm miniature depicting a churning mass of tortoises surging forward as a single chaotic encounter — shells clashing, necks craning, jaws snapping at anything in their path. Each multi-base sculpt presents a tightly clustered group of tortoises in varied poses, conveying the unsettling reality that even the slow can become dangerous in sufficient numbers.
This miniature is available in 28mm and 32mm scale, UK printed in high-detail grey ABS-like resin. It arrives free from supports with a base included, ready to prime and paint straight out of the box with no cleanup headaches.
In D&D and Pathfinder, the Tortoise Swarm works well as a wilderness beast encounter — a druid's summoned tide, a cursed grove's guardian, or an unexpected hazard in a forest or jungle setting. Game Masters will find the two included multi-base sculpts useful for scaling the encounter, representing a spreading swarm or separating the mass across multiple combat rounds.
