Description
The Northern Bugbear is a goblinoid warrior miniature drawn from the brutish, lion-maned tradition of the north — thick-limbed, furred, and built for violence. This set of three captures the creature across a spectrum of threat: a crouching sword-wielder coiled low in combat stance, an upright halberdier radiating grim patience, and a larger champion-scale figure mid-leap, axe raised and fist clenched, unmistakably the one in charge. Layered leather armour, belt pouches, and wrapped cloth bindings give each figure the rough, mercenary edge of creatures who fight for survival as much as coin.
This miniature is available in 28mm and 32mm scale, UK printed in high-detail grey ABS-like resin. It arrives free from supports with a base included, ready to prime and paint straight out of the box with no cleanup headaches.
In D&D and Pathfinder, bugbears make natural forest ambushers, tribal warriors guarding remote territory, or hired muscle serving a more cunning master — and this set is structured to support all three functions at once. A GM can field the two standard figures as warrior grunts and reserve the champion-scale figure as a bugbear boss encounter, or run the full trio as a tight skirmish unit lurking in forest encounters and wilderness hexes.
